EchoPark Speedway is monitoring the weather & will make changes to the schedule of events as necessary. All official updates to track events, schedules & programming will be posted on this page.  Updates will be provided at a minimum of every 30 minutes until racing resumes. 

Friday 11:00 p.m. Update:

The Peach Pit Party featuring Tim Duggar has been cancelled.

Friday 10:25 p.m. Update:

Drivers fired engines in the Focused Health 250 and the race resumes under caution with 127 laps remaining.

Friday 10:20 p.m. Update:

Xfinity drivers have been called back to their cars and are expected to roll off at 10:24 p.m.

Friday 10:18 p.m. Update:

The lightning hold has been lifted. Fans in attendance may return to the grandstand seating area.

Friday 10:05 p.m. Update:

Conditions remain unchanged and a weather hold remains in place due to lightning in the area.

Friday 9:35 p.m. Update:

A weather hold remains in place due to lightning in the area with 127 laps remaining in the Focused Health 250.

Friday 9:05 p.m. Update:

Lightning is in the area and are currently in a weather hold with 36 laps complete in the Focused Health 250.

Friday 7:57 p.m. Update:

The weather hold has expired.  Pre-race ceremonies will resume at 8:10 p.m. with the National Anthem followed by the Focused Health 250.

Friday 7:49 p.m. Update:

A weather hold remains in place due to lightning in the area. 

Friday 7:19 p.m. Update:

Lightning is in the area and are currently in a weather hold. Once the hold ends, we will resume with pre-race ceremonies and the national anthem. 

Friday 6:15 p.m. Update:

Weather hold is all clear.  NCS Qualifying to resume and the session will run to the conclusion of the session without any breaks.

Friday 5:47 p.m. Update:

NCS Qualifying is currently on hold due weather in the area. Please be weather aware and take appropriate measures for you and your groups safety.

Friday 4:46 p.m. Update:

Due to the weather hold, Cup Qualifying has been pushed back 25 minutes and is now scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. with one round of qualifying.

Friday 4:33 p.m. Update:

The weather hold has been lifted and the  all clear has been given. Cup Qualifying is scheduled to begin on time at 5:05 p.m.

Friday 4:18 p.m. Update:

The weather hold remains in place until the all clear has been given - tentatively set for 4:33 p.m. - Xfinity Qualifying is deemed completed with all drivers making a lap.  Sheldon Creed has been named the pole winner for the Focused Health 250.   

Friday 4:07 p.m. Update:

Lightning is in the area and Xfinity Qualifying has been placed on hold until the weather clears.
